Prayers from Scripture
«Господи, помилуй»: молитва слепых и мытаряMatt 9:27–27; Luke 18:13–13; Luke 18:38–38
Самая короткая молитва Евангелий: просьба о милости.
27 And as Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying, "Have mercy on us, son of David!"
13 But the tax collector, standing far away, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!'
38 He called out, "Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!"
«Господи, помоги мне»Matt 15:25–25; Matt 14:30–30
Вопль ханаанеянки и тонущего Петра.
25 But she came and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, help me."
30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he yelled, saying, "Lord, save me!"
Господи, не в ярости ТвоейPs 6
Молитва больного и кающегося.
1 Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
2 Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am faint. Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3 My soul is also in great anguish. But you, Lord-how long?
4 Return, Lord. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness' sake.
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks?
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The Lord has heard my supplication. The Lord accepts my prayer.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.
Превознесу Тебя, ГосподиPs 30
Благодарение за выздоровление.
1 I will extol you, Lord, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.
3 Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing praise to the Lord, you holy ones of his. Give thanks to his holy name.
5 For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
6 As for me, I said in my prosperity, "I shall never be moved."
7 You, Lord, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.
8 I cried to you, Lord. To the Lord I made supplication:
9 "What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?
10 Hear, Lord, and have mercy on me. Lord, be my helper."
11 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
Живущий под кровом ВсевышнегоPs 91
Псалом защиты.
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day;
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.
9 Because you have made Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,
10 no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.
11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
12 They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
14 "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation."
Молитва веры исцелит болящегоJas 5:14–16
Что говорит апостол о молитве за больных.
14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord,
15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Блажен, разумеющий нищегоPs 41:1–3
Для тех, кто ухаживает за больным.
1 Blessed is he who considers the poor. The Lord will deliver him in the day of evil.
2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.
3 The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.
Блажен, разумеющий нищегоPs 41
О больном и о помощи ему.
4 I said, "Lord, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned against you."
5 My enemies speak evil against me: "When will he die, and his name perish?"
6 If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.
7 All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.
8 "An evil disease," they say, "has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more."
9 Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.
10 But you, Lord, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.
11 By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn't triumph over me.
12 As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.
13 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting and to everlasting! Amen and amen.
Молитва Езекии больного и благодарениеIsa 38:9–20
Молитва царя, исцелённого от болезни.
9 The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah, when he had been sick, and had recovered of his sickness.
10 I said, "In the middle of my life I go into the gates of Sheol. I am deprived of the residue of my years."
11 I said, "I won't see Yah, Yah in the land of the living. I will see man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
12 My dwelling is removed, and is carried away from me like a shepherd's tent. I have rolled up, like a weaver, my life. He will cut me off from the loom. From day even to night you will make an end of me.
13 I waited patiently until morning. He breaks all my bones like a lion. From day even to night you will make an end of me.
14 I chattered like a swallow or a crane. I moaned like a dove. My eyes weaken looking upward. Lord, I am oppressed. Be my security."
15 What will I say? He has both spoken to me, and himself has done it. I will walk carefully all my years because of the anguish of my soul.
16 Lord, men live by these things; and my spirit finds life in all of them: you restore me, and cause me to live.
17 Behold, for peace I had great anguish, but you have in love for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; for you have cast all my sins behind your back.
18 For Sheol can't praise you. Death can't celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit can't hope for your truth.
19 The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do this day. The father shall make known your truth to the children.
20 The Lord will save me. Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the Lord.
Был болен, и вы посетили МеняMatt 25:36–36
36 I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.'
What Scripture says
14 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord,
15 and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
1 And when he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2 And behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."
3 And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
5 And when he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
6 and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."
7 And he said to him, "I will come and heal him."
8 And the centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
10 And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Truly I tell you, I have not found so great a faith with anyone in Israel.
11 And I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,
12 but the sons of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
13 And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." And his servant was healed in that hour.
14 And when Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.
15 So he touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.
16 And when evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;
17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."
18 Now when Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.
19 Then a scribe came, and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."
20 And Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head."
21 And another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."
22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."
23 And when he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
24 And behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.
25 They came to him, and woke him up, saying, "Save us, Lord! We are dying!"
26 And he said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 And the men marveled, saying, "What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
28 And when he came to the other side, into the country of the Gadarenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
29 And behold, they shouted, saying, "What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
30 Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
31 And the demons begged him, saying, "If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs."
32 And he said to them, "Go!" And they came out, and went into the herd of pigs: and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea, and died in the water.
33 And those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
34 And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.

Ps 38
1 Lord, do not rebuke me in your wrath, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
2 For your arrows have pierced me, your hand presses hard on me.
3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.
4 For my iniquities have gone over my head. As a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me.
5 My wounds are loathsome and corrupt, because of my foolishness.
6 I am pained and bowed down greatly. I go mourning all day long.
7 For my waist is filled with burning. There is no soundness in my flesh.
8 I am faint and severely bruised. I have groaned by reason of the anguish of my heart.
9 Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you.
10 My heart throbs. My strength fails me. As for the light of my eyes, it has also left me.
11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague. My kinsmen stand far away.
12 They also who seek after my life lay snares. Those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all day long.
13 But I, as a deaf man, do not hear. I am as a mute man who doesn't open his mouth.
14 Yes, I am as a man who doesn't hear, in whose mouth are no reproofs.
15 For in you, Lord, do I hope. You will answer, Lord my God.
16 For I said, "Do not let them gloat over me, or exalt themselves over me when my foot slips."
17 For I am ready to fall. My pain is continually before me.
18 For I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin.
19 But my enemies are vigorous and many. Those who hate me without reason are numerous.
20 They who also render evil for good are adversaries to me, because I follow what is good.
21 Do not forsake me, Lord. My God, do not be far from me.
22 Hurry to help me, Lord, my salvation.

Ps 103
1 Praise the Lord, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name!
2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits;
3 who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases;
4 who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;
5 who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel.
8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
9 He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
14 For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more.
17 But the Lord's loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children's children;
18 to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts.
19 The Lord has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the Lord, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word.
21 Praise the Lord, all you armies of his, you servants of his, who do his pleasure.
22 Praise the Lord, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul!
